Idaho’s capital and the Valley’s largest city, from the older streets of the North End and East End to the Bench, Southeast Boise, West Boise and Harris Ranch. The housing spans a century, so the work does too.
What homes in Boise usually need.
Every firm we introduce has passed the same seven-point Standard: licensed, insured, references called, and a site visit to finished work.
Older homes hide older systems. In the North End, East End and on the Bench, original galvanized pipe, ungrounded circuits and undersized panels are common finds. Have a licensed plumber or electrician look before a remodel.
Foothills homes need their own care. Slopes mean drainage work, and homes at the wildland edge benefit from cleared defensible space around the house before fire season.
Big trees, full gutters. Mature street trees fill gutters every fall, and roots go looking for old sewer lines. A camera inspection is cheap insurance before buying.
Trades we vet.
Join free, tell us the job, and at most two vetted firms for that trade call you at member rates. Or go monthly and we handle the whole thing.
