Plans

Three ways in for homeowners. One for firms.

Start with your address — we measure the lot from county records and price from there. Firms join by nomination, then the Standard. Nobody joins by paying more.

Free
$0 — member rates, no monthly fee

Join with your address and email. When something needs doing, tell us and a vetted firm for that trade calls you at member rates.

  • Member rates from every firm on the register
  • At most two firms contact you per job — never a list of forty
  • No card, no monthly fee, no obligation

Managed
By quote — one monthly bill

We act as the property manager for your home. A reviewer walks it with you, writes the year's plan, and one person owns it from then on.

  • Lawn, beds, irrigation, pest, gutters, snow, and what comes up
  • Every visit scheduled, inspected, and reported — you never make the call
  • Most homes land between $350 and $900 a month

Questions

The ones we get most.

How does The HomeGuild make money?
Firms on the register pay us when we introduce them to a member who asked for their trade. They can’t pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to skip any part of the Standard. Monthly and Managed members pay for the dispatch and management we do for them. Free members never pay us anything.
Is the free membership really free?
Yes. No card, no monthly fee, no obligation. When you have a job, at most two vetted firms for that trade contact you at member rates, and you pay the firm directly for the work.
Can I rent out my home and still join?
Membership is for owner-occupied homes. Landlords and property managers have a different set of incentives and a different set of firms; we may build a register for them later, but not by diluting this one.
What if a listed firm does a bad job for me?
Tell us. A reviewer calls you and the firm within a week. Two substantiated complaints in twelve months trigger an immediate re-review; one substantiated pricing complaint removes the firm outright.
I run a good firm. Why can't I just apply?
Because a form is the easiest thing in the world to fill in. A nomination from someone who has paid you and would do it again is not. Ask a customer who is a member — or ask a listed firm you've worked alongside. Submit a nomination →
Do you cover Nampa and Caldwell as well as Boise?
Yes — Ada and Canyon counties. We work on both sides of the county line, and the register is filtered by town so you can see who actually works near you.
